One look in Gilbert's ear by the doctor confirmed he indeed has an ear infection. Yes, his one year molar broke through the night he was up and chances are that was the cause, but his ear infection is prominent.
I am pleased to report as I write this post, Gilbert is sleeping soundly (and snoring loudly)!

Sorry to hear about the infection but hopefully he is already feeling better! Glad to hear everyone is getting sleep and from rereading my last comment apparently I need more (or at least spell check!). I am impressed with my self doctoring skills- maybe by the 3rd kid I have learned something! Keep Gilbert healthy so we can spend lots of time with him next weekend. Love-The Niepomniks
