Thursday morning". Gilbert flops around in the crib while the P's tend to shifting his room from nighttime set up to daytime fun. Shades are drawn, blinds are opened. Gilbert's eyes squint at the first light of day, like an intrusive bright blast!
Done playing in his friendly confines, he extends his arms signalling "pick me up". First move is to the window so he can check out the progress of construction across the street. Same ritual most of his life.
But it all changed. Something just looked different to Gilbert. And watching him watch the site, I could tell he recognized something was amiss. A second crane? But why he must be thinking. Then sheer panic set in! The second crane wasn't hauling materials up, it was taking them down. Taking the crane down!
So, I gave him a front row seat to watch. And it was amazing. He sat quietly on his chair and just watched the crane get disassembled! And from this picture you can tell he was not happy about the situation.
