Contrary to popular opinion, snow does not blanket Chicago often before the new year. However, twice now we've witnessed a good snow fall. Icy walking paths are viewed so differently now that I have to navigate not only myself but a stroller as well!This picture is from our balcony looking east back to the city.
Unintentional, but with the flash on, you can actually see the snowflakes upclose. Pretty cool. Ansel Adams, step back! Here's the same night, but now looking west.
