I have been wanting to make a headboard for us for over a year now. It seems that fall is my time to be inspired, now I just need to decide:Upholstered? if yes, what shape? nailhead trim? or perhaps an old slavged door with crusty old paint finish would be a better option.
Thoughts? I will keep you posted with my progress, hopefully it won't take me another year to get it completed!

So glad you clarified who was posting. Can't have people out there thinking otherwise. Make sure there a way to secure stuff to the headboard. Oh jeez, did I just post that?
What about a tufted fabric headboard? Love the room!

I've done upholstered (a few times) and the old door thing. I like the door more (if you can find one that is the right size) but it isn't as comfortable to lean against. Can't wait to see!
